Understand your stroke risk

The Atrial Fibrillation Association (AFA) and AntiCoagulation Europe (ACE) developed a calculator to work out a personal estimate of your stroke risk if you have been diagnosed with AF. The tool collects vital information on your health, and provides a print out that you and your doctor can use to assess the potential need for treatment to reduce your risk of an AF-related stroke.

What to do with the results?

The analysis is based on several scoring systems to calculate stroke risk in patients with AF. If the results indicate a risk of stroke, and you have been diagnosed with AF, print out the report and discuss it with your doctor.
