What is Sign Against Stroke?

Sign Against Stroke is a global campaign to raise awareness about the condition known as atrial fibrillation, or AF, and its relationship with stroke. It is also designed to provide you with all the information you need to speak effectively with your doctor and live the best life possible.

AF-related stroke can be prevented, so our first goal is to share information and knowledge. If you are affected by atrial fibrillation, or believe you are, there are ways to diagnose and manage your condition, and to reduce the risk of suffering from a stroke.

Sign Against Stroke is also engaged at a local and national level to make AF treatment and stroke prevention a priority in health agendas, promoting education and best practices around diagnosing and treating AF. You can help us raise awareness by reading and sharing our Charter.

Sign the Charter

Sign Against Stroke aims to gather 1.7 million signatures in support of the Charter – one for each of the estimated number of AF stroke suffers who lose their lives or are disabled every year — and provide those signatures to healthcare decision makers in countries across the world.

Strong support, backing up the Charter recommendations will help put AF and AF-related stroke prevention at the forefront of national health agendas.
